I’m Chantelle, the owner, baker, decorator, and chief taste-tester behind the counter. What started as a daydream and a flour-dusted home kitchen back in 2020 has grown into something truly special, right here on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches.

The Journey So Far…

Like any good recipe, the Little Cocina story involves a lot of love, a few wild leaps of faith, and plenty of mixing things up:

• 2020 | The Home Office (AKA my kitchen!): It all began with custom cakes baked straight from the heart of my home.

• 2022 | The Big Move: I took a massive leap of faith and signed the lease on a blank-canvas shopfront, converting it into a bustling commercial kitchen. For three wonderful years, we filled that space with custom creations, pop-ups, kids' cupcake parties, and cake-decorating classes.

• 2025 | A New Chapter at Hilma St: When that lease wrapped up, it was time for another leap! We co-signed a gorgeous new space at 62 Hilma St, opening our doors with custom orders and our now-famous Saturday morning scroll and cake sales.

Where We Are Today…

In 2026, we decided to hang up our custom-cake aprons to pour 100% of our love and energy into what you all crave most: the ultimate bakeshop counter experience.

Yep, we’ve officially traded custom orders for a cabinet packed to the brim with ready-to-devour treats. Because the only thing better than a Saturday morning scroll run? Adding Fridays to the mix!

We are now officially open Fridays and Saturdays, serving up our house specialty cakes, divine cupcakes, and those legendary, gooey scrolls.
